After all those weeks of not knowing where and when we will find an appartment eventually everything went well. Thus last Saturday we rented a bigger car and loaded it in Reutlingen with all the boxes we already had packed. Then off the long way to Karlsruhe. There my brother and his girl-friend waited for us. Before unloading we had lunch and then two hours later the cars were empty and our appartment was full

Now we are just waiting for our telephone and internet. We already ordered it 5 days ago but still no news or confirmation.

The contract is signed and the week is almost over. So it’s time to relocate. And we already have a lot of people who are willing to help. No it’s just the question if the appartment will be ready by Saturday. And for all the curious guys out there here’s the plan of our new appartment.

We got the first definite confirmation for an appartment. We are waiting for another landlord to decide and then we are going to decide where we will relocate to. Our stuff is already waiting in boxes at Eningen. So hopefully we can convince some people to help us relocate next weekend.

My time in Karlsruhe is over for the next three weeks as I’m working in a customer’s project at Frankfurt. So far the project is interesting but as I’m working in a bank suit and tie are necessary. Luckily my uncle has enough of those in his drawer For me this means shopping this weekend.

Eventually the great time of studying has to come to an end (again). Thus today we both started with our new jobs. Birgit had to start at 9 and for me work life started one hour later.

It was an exciting day during which I got to know a lot of people. And luckily I can remember most of the names Apart from getting to know my new colleagues I won a laptop and a mobile phone. And instead of carrying two mobile phones I just use the business phone and Birgit is going to use my old cell phone. This means for you that you have to memorize a new number: +49 (162) 2581943

Apart from work life we are still looking for an appartment as the landlords of our prefered flat decided to stay longer in their holidays. This means at the moment we are living at my uncle’s house. It’s pretty nice though as I have the chance to see them a lot after not having met them for a year.
