This year Christmas was really diverting. Maggie (http://schneeflocke07.blogspot.com/) who is doing an internship at Cologne visited us during Christmas time.
We picked her up the Saturday before Christmas and first took her to Burg Hohenzollern where we had to climb up the hill in order to enjoy nice views from and to the castle.
Heilig Abend Maggie had fun with Birgit’s family’s place, where they unwrapped lots of presents and tried to sing and played the flute 
On the 25th Birgit and her father took Maggie for a stroll to Tübingen. There the weather was perfect and the town was almost completely empty. So time to take a lot of photos. In the afternoon we did another tour and had a look at German animals.
On Boxing Day we went back to Karlsruhe and Maggie got the chance to visit the city and we had Chinese dinner with Maggie and our neighbors.
